23-19 is a sour ale brewed with Himalayan salt and conditioned with raspberries and vanilla. Their quest to get as much fruit into a beer as possible led Dig to add all the fruit post-fermentation. Normally considered a recipe for disaster, thanks to some brewing wizardry what Dig have achieved instead is raw pure raspberry madness. Not putting the fruit through any process other than contact and time means it smells and tastes like it has been picked straight from a bush. The vanilla is subtle and restrained, the salt combats the tartness and adds a new dimension making this a suave and complex fruit sour. Clever Dig.
