Discovery apples are amongst the first to ripen in the UK and August is marked by the scent of the fruit being pressed and the juice sent to tank to ferment. Disco Nouveau showcases the Discovery apple in all it's glory. The 2024 edition features an added splash of zing from the venerable Foxwhelp apple and, for maximum freshness, was bottled as a pet nat. A wild fermentation brings out those gorgeous Discovery aromatics, a cider that pours with the effervescent personality of strawberry fruit laces. This is a cider with real energy, light and bright and a real reflection of the cool summer of 2024. Think pink hued sweetshop treats and crisp red apple skin balanced out with a touch of salinity, keeping it all on the grown-up side of things. Pair with the beaming sun on a beautiful day.
