Domaine des Terres Promises - "The Promised Land" - is located in the wild heart of Provence, between the tiny towns of Jouques and Rians, at an altitude of more than 1300 feet, just across from the rocky and imposing Mont Saint Victoire. Ancient Roman roads run through this region; it's baked by the sun, flanked by pine forests and olive groves. Despite this wild terroir, they make some of the most authentic, joyful wines in the area, and this pale rosé is the real deal, made from 50 to 100 year-old organic farmed vines and fermented with wild yeasts in huge concrete tanks. Pale salmon-pink in colour with a nose of ripe peaches, watermelon and summer red fruits. On the palate medium-bodied and refreshing leading to a lingering finish. Very moreish!
