Chateau Saint Cyrgues is based in the village of Saint-Gilles in the Costieres de Nimes appellation of the Cotes-du-Rhone. There are 40 hectares in all and everything is carried out strictly according to organic principles. This is the ultimate crowd-pleasing, beginners skin contact wine. Grenache Blanc, 2/3 whole bunch, crushed and fermented, 1/3 destemmed, crushed and macerated for 10 days on skins mixed with native yeast, giving a little minerality and orange blossom floral notes alongside a prominent flavour of juicy peach. Just good, clean fun that won't scare anyone but also has more than enough going on. A gem from one of the Rhône valley's most southern vineyards.
