Winemaker Pol Andsnes spent several years in search of the perfect vineyard that would enable him to produce this elegant, acidic, flavourful wine. Made using 100% Torrontes grapes, grown in the Uco Valley in Mendoza, Argentina, Andsnes utilises a 10 month maceration on skins to produce El Otro Lado's distinctive colour and flavour. On the nose we have tropical and stone fruit, quince, dried apricots, orange peel, camomile and light hints of spice. Dry, with a slight quinine bitterness from skin contact, the wine retains all the flavours from the nose with a high acidity, minerality and savoury notes.
