Cantine Rallo have been producing wine in Sicily since 1860. The Vesco family took over the business in the late 1990s and have since revolutionised the viticultural practices.  Their hundred hectares of certified organic vineyards are located high up in the hills above Alcamo, where the climate is perfectly suited for producing the best quality grapes. Maremosso Catarratto is a great value entry point for the Orange wine style. Cataratto grapes spend a few weeks macerating with the skins during wild yeast fermentation in stainless steel. Bottled with low sulphur and no filtration. Deliciously drinkable with aromas of herbs, hay and floral notes. The palate is rich, with pithy grapefruit, floral quince, savoury herbs, spices and sea spray salinity. A lip-smacking, food-friendly option for all manner of occasions.
