A plethora of favourite NZ hops take the stage for the latest in Cloudwater's Hooked On series of DDH IPAs. First up is Eggers Special, a very unique Riwaka hop variant from Eggers, a niche hop grower specialising in Riwaka. This variant is known for its deeply fruity aroma - pineapple, lime, grapefruit and passion fruit, and is paired here with the more usual Riwaka varietal which gives flavours and aroma of berries, an incredible peachiness, guava, and a herbal, almost oregano-like pepperiness. With the addition of modern NZ favourites Motueka and Nelson, expect all the usual dank flavours, spanning the spectrum from white grape and gooseberry, to sticky overripe pineapple.
