Flensburger Pils pours a brilliant yellow colour, almost gold with a medium, fast diminishing white head. Aroma is typical of northern German pilsners: grassy, grainy and full of dry malt character and tight herbal hops. Flavour is mildly bitter with some sweetness on the edges. A slight touch of caramel over a mainly lemongrass character, with citrus notes coming through. Body is light to medium, lots of carbonation and dry on the finish. A classic German pilsner.
