Established in 1965, Les Vignerons D’ Estézargues is a co-operative cellar in the small town of Estézargues, near Avignon. Employing conscientious farming, and with the majority of the estates converted to organic, Les Vignerons D’ Estézargues uses no external yeasts, no filtering and no fining, and no enzymes are employed on the grapes during the winemaking process. A blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan and Syrah, this amazing value Cotes du Rhone has ripe red/dark fruit aromas and characteristic peppery notes. Lovely softness in the mouth with velvety tannins and confit fruits building across the palate, hints of tobacco and leather and a nice spine of acidity from the Syrah as well as some spicy blackcurrant fruit.
